The Beichen Economic & Technological Development Area (BEDA) is an important business center for domestic and foreign businesses, with 500 companies from 26 countries, including 23 of the Fortune 500 companies, located in Beichen District, Tianjin city. The city Tianjin is one of the ´J´-s of the JJJ Metropol Region, and one of the top 10 city ports on the world.
The Economic & Technological Development Area is divided into 1 center and 4 industrial parks in various key branches: high-end manufacturing, medicine & pharmaceutics, renewable energy and new materials, innovative information technology and modern logistics. The Economic Zone has won the title of "China's Top 100 Most Competitive Area" and "China's Top 100 New Energy Industry Park". Tianjin is a major port city in northern China. It has a strategically favorable location both for the land route to Europe and for the maritime Silk Road. Tianjin is an ideal place as a free trade zone and logistics hub for foreign companies. For German companies, the port city of Tianjin is an attractive location: settlements of companies such as Airbus and Volkswagen - and since 2016 also Audi (producing modern gearboxes), have led to an increase of German SME settlements in the city.
The Business & Technology Center is located east of the Beijing-Tianjin highway and adjacent to the Beichen Country Park and covers an area of 2.48 km². A number of famous companies have invested here, including SIEMENS as one of the Fortune 500 companies, O-I Group and Masterwork Machinery Co., Ltd., one of the Little Giant Leader Enterprises.

The BEDA European Offshore Center is located in the corporate headquarters of BEDA´s German partner, the Sino German Hi-Tech Park´s (SGHTP) TechTower in Heidelberg, Germany. A 18-storey building with more than 10,000 m² of office space high above the Rhineland. The building has its own event areas, meeting rooms, a restaurant and experienced service staff for all kinds of activities.
The location of the Offshore Center in Heidelberg, Germany is excellent.
